Janice reflects a lifelong dedication to helping others, inspired by what she calls a deep “Love of People.” Perhaps that’s why she’s known as, The Woman with a Big Heart! Growing up in San Jose, she began serving her community at just 17, driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact. Despite the challenges of early motherhood and raising her wonderful children, she stayed true to her purpose, with spirituality as her guiding force. This commitment to her faith and the joy it brings is central to her leadership of A Place-2-Live, Inc. (AP2L), where she ensures the organization’s mission: to empower low to moderate-income families with essential resources and skills for self-sufficiency. Her genuine empathy and warmth permeate AP2L’s services, creating a nurturing environment that fosters stability, community, and a pathway to brighter futures.
